A boat trip across the caldera, with stops for swimming at the hot springs and the volcanic islets, ending with the famous sunset over Oia seen from the sea.

Often nicknamed the "Griechisch Pompeii", this Minoan city was buried under volcanic ash and remarkably preserved, with its houses, frescoes and streets still visible.

Santorini's volcanic soil produces unique wines, especially the famous Assyrtiko. Several wineries in Pyrgos and Megalochori offer tastings with views over the caldera.
