A flat path past dry-stone walls, white shingle beaches and kelp kilns, with a constant view of Ushant and the archipelago. The Théven calvary is its lookout.
At low tide a shingle bar links Molène to its twin islet, the old kingdom of the kelp gatherers. Check the tide tables before you go — and come back before the sea shuts the door.
The archipelago shelters one of France's main grey seal colonies. Watch them from the path or on supervised boat trips; binoculars recommended, silence required.
