An iconic site of Madagascar where century-old baobabs line a red dirt track, particularly spectacular at sunset. A must-see, accessible by bush taxi or 4x4 from Morondava.

A humid rainforest home to the indri, the largest of the lemurs, whose call echoes through the canopy at dawn. Local guides lead hikes to Ort chameleons, orchids and wildlife found nowhere else on earth.

The "Island of Perfumes" with white-sand beaches, turquoise waters and reefs perfect for diving and snorkeling among turtles and tropical fish. Excursions to nearby islets such as Nosy Komba and Nosy Tanikely round out the stay.
