Arriving and getting to Gozo
Several express bus routes link the airport with Valletta, Sliema, St Julian's and the north of the island. A rental car is handy for exploring, but Valletta is best on foot. For Gozo, the ferry leaves from Ċirkewwa in the north of Malta and takes about 25 minutes; a fast ferry also links Valletta directly to Gozo in about 45 minutes. Boats also go to Comino and its Blue Lagoon. → See our car rental in Malta and places to stay.
