How Dem-Tukki is funded
Dem-Tukki is a free travel guide — no advertising, no account required. To cover its costs (hosting, domain names, writing time) we use partner links, also known as affiliate links.
The principle is simple: when you book accommodation, a flight or a car after clicking one of our links, our partner pays us a small commission on the transaction. You pay exactly the same price as if you had gone to their site directly. No surcharge, no mark-up.

What this does not change
Our editorial choices do not depend on our partners. In concrete terms:
- No destination is added, promoted or removed because it earns more.
- The establishments we mention are selected on merit, and we link to their official website whenever one exists — even when doing so costs us a commission.
- No hotel, tourist board or provider can buy its way onto our pages.
- We do not publish sponsored content disguised as editorial.
How to spot a partner link
Every block containing partner links carries an explicit notice directly underneath. Technically, these links are also flagged to search engines with the rel="sponsored" attribute, in line with Google's guidelines.
