The shuttle and Gulf cruises
The Izenah Croisières shuttle leaves Port-Blanc every 30 minutes all year, from early morning to evening, later in summer. In season, boats also sail to the island from Vannes, Locmariaquer and Arzon, often as part of a Gulf tour. From Quiberon you can continue to Belle-Île, Houat or Hoëdic.
Entry formalities and arrival
UK travellers need a valid passport; under the EU Entry/Exit System, your details are recorded on arrival. Visitors leave their car at Port-Blanc, where parking is paid and busy in summer: explore on foot or by bike, hired at the landing stage. From April to October the Gulf is at its gentlest; June and September avoid the summer crowds. The shuttle costs only a few euros return, making a day trip very easy.
