Climb the island's emblematic volcano through lush vegetation, offering a spectacular panorama over the Caribbean coast.

A garden begun in 1982 around a Creole house and awarded the Jardin remarquable label: more than 1,000 tropical species, a canopy walk of suspended bridges, a palm grove overlooking Fort-de-France bay and a bamboo grove. Open 365 days a year, 9 am to 6 pm.

More than 300 animals from 60 neotropical species, including big cats, monkeys, macaws and iguanas, in a former plantation dating from 1643 with ruins, a water wheel and old rum-making machinery, plus a botanical garden. Open daily 9 am to 6 pm, with keeper talks.

Catamaran trips from the Pointe du Bout marina for over twenty years: full days along the north Caribbean coast (the dolphin route) or the south (the turtle route), half-days and private charters. The fleet includes electrically propelled boats.

A rum producer since 1765 based in Sainte-Marie amid the sugar cane plantations, offering an immersive visit into the history of rum and its terroir, plus the Habitation La Salle, a former sugar estate founded at the end of the 17th century.

An estate founded in 1651 on the slopes of Mont Pelée: a distillery tour you can follow freely with panels or an audio guide, a museum, a five-hectare park, the Château Depaz built between 1917 and 1922, tastings and the Le Moulin à Cannes restaurant. Distillery open daily 9 am to 4:30 pm.
